Tumeur stromale de l’œsophage (à propos d’un cas)
Oesophageal stromal tumour (about 1 case)
The digestive stromal tumour are the most frequent conjunctive tumours of the digestive tract. We report a case of stromal tumour of the oesophagus, which is a very rare localisation of these tumours. Their histological diagnosis was improved by the description of the form of the gene c-kit. However, their prognosis is not easy to evaluate. The basic treatment of these tumours is surgical.
A new non chemotherapeutic treatment, the STI 571, seems to be promising in the assumption of responsibility of these tumours. We report a case of oesophageal stromal tumor. This localisation remains rare.
